Welcome Little One - Your Next Stamp - Feature Day

It's Feature Day over on the YNS Blog and it's full of baby cuteness! The theme this month the DT worked on is Baby.  So if you are looking for a little inspiration for a little one who may be arriving soon, look no further than the YNS Blog.

For my card, I am using one of my favorite sets called Woodland Cuties.  This set is so versatile to use for either babies or just a fun, cute, and whimsical project.  You really won't be disappointed with it and you may find yourself grabbing for it for multiple projects you may be creating.

I started with a baby blue cardstock base to layer it with a white background before adding in some pink cardstock at an angle.  Using some YNS Hugs and Kisses patterned paper to create the tag, I cut that out using the new release set of Cool Tags Four.  The image was colored with Copics before cutting it out with the coordinating die set and popping it up with some foam adhesive. I placed that tag at a bit of an angle after adding some yellow ribbon.  A blue cs strip was added to a scallop border that I used my decorative scissors for. The sentiment was stamped directly onto the blue strip and the card was completed with a few Hey Baby gumdrops.

We hope you take the time to stop by the YNS Blog to see all the wonderful creations the team has created.  If you leave a little love, you have a chance at winning a stamp set of your choice! Hope your Saturday is warm and dry! Rainy and comfortable here, but I sure wish it was sunny!

New Release - The Cat's Pajamas

Happy Saturday friends!

The Cat's Pajamas Stamps has a super fun release you will want to take advantage of! There are so much cuteness perfect for this time of year and Cut Up's that help accent your project.

For my first card, I couldn't help but make a fun, cloudy scene with the new set of Bunnies in Flight and Cut Ups of both the new release of Clouds and Balloon and Stitched Clouds. Copics were used to color in the image and popped up over the cloud border.  I used some patterned paper for the sky and stamped the sentiment directly onto the front panel.  It was finished with some rhinestones. For my second card, I am using the set of Watercolor Basics to create the background and the new Live, Love, Laugh Cut Up for the sentiment over it.  A CAS card but I really like how it turned out.

Thanks so much for popping in to take a peek and hope you stop by the TCP store to pick up your favorites! And in case you haven't heard, the set Hola! is back by demand for a limited time! This is perfect for your Cinco de Mayo festivities.  Hope you have a great weekend!

Watercolor Birthday - Your Next Stamp Challenge

Happy Friday!
I am finally back after a bought of strep and other health issues that kept me from being able to do my crafty thing!  Your Next Stamp recently had a release with so many fabulous stamp sets and dies that you don't want to miss but I was unable to participate in that release due to my illness.  However, I will be sharing with you on Monday what I have created now, so I hope you will be back to check them out then!

In the meantime, I am sharing with you a card I made for the current YNS sketch and color challenge.  I have used both the sketch and the colors to create this watercolor image using the new Sweet Hummingbird Set.  Isn't it just beautiful?!

So while this set is beautful, my watercoloring has a little work I think! hahaha... I love to watercolor, but it is still a learning curve for me, but I thought with this great open lined stamp, it was perfect to test that watercoloring out on.  Using some watercolor paper by Canson, I stamped the image and used my Zig watercolor pens to create the look on the image.  Keeping that the focus, I used the color scheme on the panels from the sketch.  I finished the card with some gumdrops and stamped the sentiment directly onto the image panel.

We hope you will be able to play along in the challenge and link your creation to the challenge blog for your chance to win! And be sure to stop by Monday to see my new release creations! Thanks for stopping by and hope you have a great weekend!

Hey everyone!

There is still time to play along with The Cat's Pajamas Stamps challenge! This challenge is all about Spring.  Have you checked out the latest {early} release of TCP stamps? Perfect for Easter and of course this challenge. :)

For my card, I used some patterned paper to offset the main panel and pop up the cut up of the bunny and Easter eggs.  This set is called Easter Bunny. Once cut out, I sponged some Memento ink along the edges of the bunny and eggs for a little extra color.  The sentiment is from the newly released set of Happy Easter.  I finished the card with some sequins and some dots using my white gel pen.

We sure hope you play along and link up your creation to the TCP Blog for your chance to win! Thanks so much for popping in and hope you have a great Tuesday!

The wreath is popped up and some white gel dots and pink gel pen were added for additional color. The sentiment was stamped directly onto the top panel to complete the card.

Your Next Stamp - Feature Day, Laughter

Who doesn't like a dose of laughter? Well, this month's Feature Day with Your Next Stamp is all about Laughter. There are many stamps in the YNS Store that will tickle your funny bone and the DT has done a great job to show some of them off.

For my card, I am featuring the stamp set of 'Boom' for a chuckle that makes for a punny thank you card for someone.

Using the YNS Grey Stone ink, I stamped off some color before stamping the background and then stamped, colored with Copics, and cut out using the coordinating die for the center image.  That image is popped up over the background with the sentiment stamped on some red cardstock at the bottom.

There are plenty funny projects showcasing some of the fun sets in the YNS Store over on the YNS Blog. Be sure to stop by and leave a little love for your chance to win a stamp set of your choice!  We hope we were able to give you a little chuckle today and thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great Wednesday!

Funky Thanks! - Your Next Stamp Friday Challenge

Happy Friday and Happy St. Patricks Day! I am happy that the cold week is ending and finally some warmer temperatures in the future days. It is new sketch or color challenge over on the Your Next Stamp blog. We hope you share your creations and upload it to the linky so that you have a chance to win a gift certificate to the YNS store!

For my creation, I am using a little bit of the new with a little bit of the old!

Using the new Funky Line panel die and the new Happy Spring paper collection, the background was put together.  From the set of Smiley Happy Critters, I stamped the ladybug and colored it in with Copics.  I finished the card by adding a few flowers stamped along the panels, the sentiment, and popped up a few of the little butterflies in the set.

That about sums it up for me.  Thanks for stopping by and hope you have a great weekend!

TCPTUES333 - Water - The Cat's Pajamas Challenge

Happy snow day for those of you on the East Coast who have gotten a bit of this Nor'easter Stella to drop some wintery weather! We are enjoying a day off here in our house with much snow outside.  So for those of you with a day off and feel like getting a little crafty, why not play along with us over at The Cat's Pajamas and have a chance at winning a gift certificate to the store?  This is the last week to play along in the current challenge of 'Water.' This can be anything to do with water - swimming, ocean, fishing, etc.

For my card, I am using the set Aye Aye Captain and using just the lifesavers to create this thank you card.

I started by using my perforated tool to run lines along the edge of my top panel.  Then with some distress inks, I sponged over some blues and yellows lightly before adding the lifesavers over it.  The lifesavers were stamped and colored with Copics and punched out with my circle punches.  The sentiment was stamped directly onto the panel.  Some patterned paper from Authentique was added to the back edge and finished with a strip of blue before adding the finishing touches of a few rhinestones.

We hope you can play along and earn your chance to win! Be sure to upload your project on the TCP Blog and we look forward to seeing your what you create!  Thanks for stopping by and hope you have a great, warm day!

Have a Wild Day! - Your Next Stamp DT Dare

It's the March Your Next Stamp DT dare! This month the design team is focusing on Spring colors.  I don't know about you, but I am sure ready for the Spring weather to go along with the colors the season has to offer.

For my card, I have created one using both the Mini Butterfly Splatter stamp and the Stacked with Fun stamp set and coordinating dies.

For the base, I stamped the butterflies with Versamark and heat embossed them in white before sponging in some Distress Inks around it.  I then stamped the image with the YNS Stone Grey ink before coloring it in with Copics.  It was then cut out and popped up with some foam adhesive. The sentiment was stamped directly onto the base in the same Stone Grey color while the card was finished with some of the new Enchanted Garden Gumdrops.

Be sure to stop by the YNS Blog to see all the fun creations the team has put together! Thanks for stopping in and hope you have a great Wednesday!
