Shoeper Awesome - Your Next Stamp

TGIF!! And it is a long weekend too!  Hopefully you have something fun planned and ready to enjoy the days off.  If you decide to get crafty, come play along with Your Next Stamps sketch or color challenge.

For my card, I am using the sketch along with the newly released set of Shoeper Awesome.  This set is so much fun and the sentiments are perfect.

This card is smaller than the usual A2 for something different this time around.  I dusted off my decorative scissors and used one to create the bottom of the card.  I stamped and colored in the image with Copics before cutting it out using the YNS Circle dies and Stitched Circle dies.  The fun decorative paper is the newly released Just for Fun Collection and the card was finished with some gumdrops.

We hope you can play along in the challenge and upload your creation to the YNS Challenge blog for a chance to win!! Thanks so much for stopping by and hope you have a fantastic Friday!

You Are - Feature Day - Your Next Stamp

Today is feature day with Your Next Stamp and the focus is on texture.  I have created a card using some heat embossing elements and the new clear gumdrops.

Using the newly released set of What Not Sentiments 8, I clear embossed a few of the words throughout the card base and then using some Distress Inks, I sponged a few different colors throughout giving it a very colorful background.  Some black embossing was used on a piece of vellum for the 'you are' sentiment which I attached to the side of the card.  It was then finished with some new clear gumdrops and purple rhinestones.

Be sure to check out all the fun projects on the YNS Blog where you can leave a little love and have a chance to win a stamp set of your choice! Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great Wednesday!

TCPTUES331 - Happy Mail

It's a new challenge over at The Cat's Pajamas! It's all about Happy Mail.  Who doesn't like that? There are many stamp sets with TCP that can fulfill the happiness in someone's mailbox.

I am using the set of Besties to create this card.

Being a military spouse, I find this statement to be so true.  I have traveled long and far to see friends I enjoy spending time with and being able to keep the connection between many friends I have made over the years.

The image was stamped and colored with Copics.  I partially cut the top of the image from the center panel for a little extra dimension before adding a few Stitched Clouds Cut Ups and the sun from County Fair Cut Ups. A few rhinestones for some bling finished it off.

We hope you play along with us and upload your project to the TCP Blog for your chance to win a $15 gift certificate to the TCP store!  Thanks so much for popping in! Have a great Tuesday.

February New Release And Blog Hop - Your Next Stamp

Hey everyone!

The day is here for the February release with Your Next Stamp! There is so much goodness coming from this release with super fun stamps, dies, and paper! Speaking of dies, wait until you see the beautiful Butterfly Box in this hop that will make for perfect favors this spring and summer!

For my first card, I am using the S'more Fun set and coordinating dies.  The Heart Home border die was used for the background scene.

The images were stamped and colored in with Copics before being popped up over the green panel.  I changed the color of the home by cutting out that bit in yellow.  The sentiment was stamped directly onto the main panel while the fire and marshmallows were finished off with some Wink of Stella for added sparkle.  This set is just so much fun and many gifty ideas that it can be used for.

My second card is using the Sports Fanantics Shoeper Awesome set.  Hee hee... Shoeper.. That makes me giggle.  I love the name for this set.  I created a fairly CAS card that can be used for a boy including some of the new Just for Fun YNS Papers.

For the bottom scallop border, I used the Scallop Star Edge die and added some yellow card stock to the back for color.  The shoe was colored in with Copics and popped up over the center panel.

No new release with YNS goes without an awesome deal so that you can get everything on your list that you want.  Karen is giving you 20% OFF YOUR ENTIRE PURCHASE!! Don't miss out!

Be sure to leave a little love as you hop along for your chance to win a $25 gift certificate to the YNS Store.  Thanks for hopping in and have a great weekend!

You Are Amazing - Your Next Stamp Sneaky Peek

It's here! It's here! Sneaky peeks for the February release of Your Next Stamp have finally arrived! So much cuteness and a super fun treat box to boot! Get your paper and pen ready to jot down your list because you will want this whole release once you see the cuteness the DT have made for their sneaky peek!

For my card,  I am using the new What Nots Sentiment set along with the butterfly topper from the treat box and some fun patterned paper from Doodlebug & CO and EP.

I started with a white card base and used the cloud patterned paper for the background.  The butterfly was cut out and a coordinating patterned paper was used on the wings.  It was popped up over the sentiment panel, which the sentiment was stamped on using the Stone Grey YNS Color ink. I then outlined the entire sentiment with the clear Wink of Stella for some added sparkle.  The whole card was completed with some rhinestones for added sparkle.

Don't forget to check out the other DT creations and don't forget to hop along with us for the New Release blog hop tonight.  Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!

Get Int Shape - TCPTUES328

Happy Tuesday!

Have you played along with the TCPTUES328 challenge? It's about getting into shape; using two or more geometric shapes on your project.  So many choices and options. There is still time to link up your project to the TCP Blog and have a chance at winning a TCP gift certificate.

For my card, I am using the set of Just Let It Happen.  I love this set! Cheeky and loving at the same time.

Using some pattern papers from EP, I created the background with two different sheets and cut out the Square Stamp die with a third. The image was stamped and colored in with Copics before popping it up over the stamp die.  The look was completed using a heart cutout from the Small Envie die set to be placed on the bottom of the stamp die and the sentiments stamped directly onto the patterned paper.  Some mini rhinestones were added for some bling.

Thanks so much for stopping in and be sure to check out what the rest of the Kitty Cat Pack have done! Have a great week!

Feature Day - Your Next Stamp

Hey everyone!

I hope you all are having a great weekend.  It's that time! Feature Day with the YNS DT.  The theme is using hearts on your project.  Perfect for this time of year and not too hard to do.

For my card, I created yet another CAS using both the Scripty Love Die and the Cool Tag Patterns die set.  I really can't stop using this die! I love the simplicity of it and of course the multiple uses you can get out of it.  Using a light grey cardstock, (one I found in my stash, but not sure who makes it) I stamped the flourish design from TCP as the background with the YNS Stone Grey ink color.  I cut out the center tag using some b/w MME patterned paper and popped that over the top of the flourishes.  The love script is cut out using some red flocked paper along with the coordinating hearts in this set.  I glued the love over the banner and popped up the hearts around.  The card was completed using some Liquid Pearls for an added design.

Be sure to stop by the YNS Blog to check out the rest of the fabulous creations and don't forget to leave a little love while you are there.  You can have a chance to win a stamp set of your choice!! Thanks for stopping by and hope you have a great Sunday!

Thank You - TCPTUES329 - The Cat's Pajamas

Hi everyone!

I hope you all had a great holiday weekend and were able to get a little crafty.  Have you seen the latest TCPTUES?  It's all about 'Thank You's' and hope you are able to play along with us.
For my card, I am using a few different elements to create this CAS thank you. Using the stars stamp from the Winter Style set, I stamped and heat embossed the stars with both a silver embossing powder and a translucent silver glitter embossing powder for added sparkle.  I enhanced the stars by adding some glitter gel pen around some of the stars and stamped in Memento Grey Flannel, the sentiment in the center of the card from the Simply Said set.  For the bottom, I dry embossed just a portion of the bottom panel and added a thin strip of silver card stock above the embossed portion.  The card was then completed by adding some rhinestones throughout.

Don't forget to add your creation to the linky on the TCP Blog for your chance to win a gift certificate to the TCP Store! Thanks so much for popping in and taking a peek!

3 Colors - Your Next Stamp - DT Dare

It's time for another DT Dare with Your Next Stamp! This month's dare is to feature 3 colors.

I could not resist using the newly released Hug and Kisses paper collection and the Love and Latte set to create this CAS card of three colors.  Three colors I love together too!

Using the new Heart panel die, I cut out the white card stock and layered it over the patterned paper for a fun dotted heart look.  The image was stamped and colored in with Copics, while the sleeve was paper pieced using an embossed scrap paper I had from Bazzil.  That image was then popped up over the panel and the sentiment was stamped directly onto the center of the panel.  Easy peasy and CAS!

Don't forget to leave a little love on the YNS blog for your chance to win a stamp set of your choice.  Thanks for stopping in and taking a peek! Have a great Wednesday!
